French Woman Fraud By Coping Brad Pitt Faces, Support

A French woman has become a victim of a heavy scam where she thought she was in a relationship with the Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt. The 53-year-old interior designer, named Anne was over the moon while being in a fake relationship with the famous Hollywood actor for over a year. Unluckily, this relationship became the cause of significant financial losses for her. Someone contacted her pretending to be Pitt’s mother and claimed that her son likes a person like Anne as a life partner.

After that, Anne started talking to the person who was presenting himself as Brad Pitt and shared some of his AI-generated images and intricate tales. She was exploited while trusting that Pitt was in extreme need of money to pay for Kidney cancer treatment. The scammer asked her to transact a huge amount alongside her divorce agreement.  

The situation got worse when Anne decided to isolate and enhance gullibility, despite her instinct warning her during this scam. When the real Brad Pitt’s relations with Ines de Ramon became public knowledge, the culprits published false reports reassuring Anne. The time came when the truth finally unraveled, and Anne reported it, which led to the culprits undergoing investigation.

As much as many are online and mocking Anne, others sympathize with her. After all, the technology of deepfakes and AI has made it extremely problematic for people to decide what is real and what is not. Anne has also called upon justice; she also believes that her ordeal should be a deterrent message about the dangers of modern cybercrimes.
